Students

youth ministry

Youth Ministry is for students from 6-12 grade or 11-19 years old.
Mission
Our mission is to develop students towards adopting Christ-centered identities in order to reach a lost world.
Vision
Our Youth Ministry exists to equip and empower households to be the primary shepherds of their children's faith, and to develop a generation that genuinely pursues a relationship with Jesus in their own lives. Students will form deep relationships with other Christ followers. Our students will also gain a uniform understanding of the absolute truth of the Bible – and with Christ centered identities, they will pursue the mission and character of Jesus as He changes the world for the Kingdom of God.

our  gatherings

5th Sundays

5th Sundays are event Sundays, where we plan intentional events for students and their friends.

 Sundays

Middle School and High School groups meet on Sundays from 6-8pm.

youth Sundays

Both Middle School and High School groups meet on Sundays, 6-8pm.

These nights consist of games, worship, teaching, and extended small group times called Grow Groups.

On 5th Sundays, we will have planned community building events that are designed to be a comfortable place for students to invite friends and grow relationally.

High School consists of 9-12th grade. Middle school consists of 6-8th grade .

Grow groups

We believe in the importance of teens growing in leadership while simultaneously digging deeper into who God is through His word. One of the ways that we do this is through Grow Groups. As of right now, our Grow Groups meet on Sunday evenings from 6-8 pm as part of the youth ministry plan and curriculum.

These groups are designed with hospitality and a sense of belonging for our students in mind. Grow Groups are meant to initiate deeper and more dynamic relationships and cultivate a culture of family and care toward one another while offering space for students to process, ask questions, and grow personally in their faith.

lake champion

Every year both our Middle & High School students participate in a district youth retreat called Lake Champion. This event has been life changing for many people in our church family throughout the years as well. We have seen students’ lives change in significant and dramatic ways in every area of life. For details about Lake Champion or the forms needed to attend please click here.

summer ministry

During the summer months we shift our Sunday night focus onto outreach. We identify outreach opportunities for our students where they spend several weeks together learning to live like Jesus and ministering to their communities. Find out more on our Summer Ministry page.

youth leaders

We have a great team of dedicated youth leaders who serve students and their families in a variety of ways. If you are interested in serving in Youth Ministry, please contact us.
Dylan Schuster (Top Left)
Hi, my name is Dylan! My wife & I have been
married since 2015. We have two beautiful
children, two dogs, and two snakes. I love all
animals and anything outdoors. I first
dedicated my life to Christ when I was about
10 years old. I have wanted to be involved in
youth ministry since I was a teenager, to be
able to help others along their journey with
Christ in the same way that I was helped by
amazing youth leaders. :)
My wife's name is Amber, and my children's
names are Blake and Rory
Stephanie Hill (Top Middle)
I am Stephanie. I have lead youth Bible studies in
high school with Fellowship of Christian Athletes,
in college with a local high school's FCA and in
different aspects of youth ministry here at LFA. I
have the joy of currently co-leading the middle
school catalyst group. I am blown away by our
middle schoolers and their desire to be IN the
Word and growing in Christ. Reading the Bible
with them and talking over what God is saying and
doing in their lives is such a privilege to share.

Dally Fuentes (Top Right)
Hi! My name is Dally Fuentes, and I am a
married, 25 year old Jesus-loving-woman! I’m
also a 7th grade English teacher. My subject
area usually comes last on middle schoolers‘
favorites list, BUT good thing Jesus says that
those who are last will be first! On another note,
I’ve been leading youth students in various
places for many years ever since God put it in
my heart to guide students in how to build a firm
foundation in Christ and to do life side by side
with them, navigating it with God’s word!
Isabella Carrano
My name is Isabella Carrano, and I’ve been
attending Living Faith Alliance since 2022. In
the past year I’ve developed a love and
passion for youth ministry, and I am so
grateful I have had the opportunity to serve
the youth of our church. I am currently in an
apprenticeship program for pipefitting and
plumbing, and in my free time I enjoy
scrapbooking, playing guitar, painting, and
hiking.
Sophia Born
Hello there, my name is Sophia.
The Lord has given me a passion for seeing
young people uncover their identity in Christ,
develop their authority in Jesus and increase their
capacity for His presence. I love walking
alongside our youth as the Lord illuminates His
divine purpose in their lives. To battle the swells of
our broken world alongside our youth, and see
them emerge as chosen and appointed vessels
for Christ is a true gift I am continually blessed to
be a part of.

I love spending as much time in nature as I can as
well as  hiking with friends, singing, having in-
depth conversations about exemplary books or
films. I’m an avid writer and spend the vast
majority of my nights doing so until my brain turns
into mush.
Nick Henry
Hi this is Nick and I've been working with LFA for
just under a year as a middle school youth
leader, but i have a long and deep-rooted
connection with this church and the people in it.
When I first started being a youth leader here I
felt like I was called, and now I know that I am
here to impact the lives of every child who joins
us on Sunday nights! I've worked with kids, both
in a school setting and I also teach swim lessons
as of the beginning of this year. So, it is very nice
that I get to bring the love that God gives me and
pour it out to those around me.
Ben Gould
My name is Ben Gould and I grew up here at
LFA. I’ve been a student in the youth group all the
way from 6th grade to my senior year of high
school. After high school I went straight to being a
leader, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing this ministry
from a different angle and finding my passion for
youth ministry. I’m a small group leader for the
high school boys and I love getting to connect and
have fun with the students.
Grace Wright
Hi, my name is Grace, and I’m passionate about
emotional health and healing, relational ministry,
and leadership support and development. With
an international background in worship and
college ministry, I’m excited to come alongside
our youth and youth leaders as we do life and
love Jesus together. I’m an old soul who loves
gardening, long walks, copious cups of tea, and
hosting at my house - a place where everyone
can simply “come as they are” and cuddle my
cats, sit on my porch, be loved, and find rest. I’m
excited to be on this journey together!
Teresa and Ricky Marquina
Hi! We have been married for over 14 years
and most of that time we lived in beautiful
Sussex County having and raising our
treasures Anabela (13), Elora (11), Julieta (9),
and Oliver (4). At Lafayette Federated Church
we helped with junior high youth group, hosted
young adults, women’s Bible study, and a
Spanish small group in our home.
Before getting married we called Cumberland
County home and Vineland CMA (LFA) was
our church family. Though my hubby was a
young child when he came to know Jesus…
my discipleship happened right here at our
church. As my relationship with Jesus grew so
did my heart for his people and our
community. I helped lead in summer ministry,
days off from school, children’s ministry, and
young adults. We are both so excited to
continue serving together and walking beside
others as they learn of their need for Jesus.
Curtis White
Hi, my name is Curtis White. I am married to my wife Anyah, and I have two daughters Noah and Annalee. My day career is one of a software engineer and at times an adjunct professor. I always believe that God breaks your heart for the purpose you are made for. He has broken my heart to pass on wisdom to the next generation, hence me serving in youth ministry
