Hi there! My name is Sophia.
My heart for Alaska missions began two years ago when I was given the opportunity to serve at Tanalian Bible Camp. I returned the next year with a burden for Alaska native youth and young adults to hear the Good News. I continue to explore open doors for ministry in Alaska and am beyond excited to see where the Lord leads next.
This spring/summer as I head back to Alaska, I go with a few new opportunities ahead. I was offered another internship at Tanalian Bible Camp for the duration of the camp season and I have accepted! TBC’s goal is to see the ripple effect of one life impacting a family, changing a community, and transforming a generation. They desire to give every child in Southwest Alaska the opportunity to experience the hope of Christ through their programs.
I’ve also been given the opportunity through SEND North to spend roughly a month and a half traveling to different remote villages in the state to learn about and pursue full-time ministry opportunities!
